Treatments

Five things, done properly.

We do not offer everything. What we do not do here we will refer you for — and we will tell you who we would send our own family to.

Dental implants
01 — Implants

Dental implants

A replacement root, and a tooth that behaves like the one you lost.

3–4 over 4–6 months 60–90 minutes to place Local, sedation on request
About implants
Porcelain veneers
02 — Veneers

Porcelain veneers

Thin porcelain, bonded to the front of a tooth. Reversible only in the sense that nothing is.

3 over 4–6 weeks 2 hours per fitting Local
About veneers
Clear alignment
03 — Alignment

Clear alignment

Moving teeth rather than covering them. Slower, gentler, and it removes nothing.

5–7 over 9–18 months 20 minutes per review None
About alignment
Whitening
04 — Whitening

Whitening

The simplest thing that makes a visible difference, and the one most often oversold.

Hygiene and gum health
05 — Hygiene

Hygiene and gum health

The unglamorous half of the practice, and the half that decides whether the rest lasts.

1–2, then every 3–6 months 45–60 minutes Local, if you want it

Reception

The practice

It does not look like a dentist, on purpose.

No strip lighting, no clinical smell in the waiting room, and no television playing at the ceiling. The building is a converted ground floor in Bandra with daylight on two sides, and we kept as much of it as the equipment allowed.

Four surgeries, one planning room with the scanner, and a lab bench where the technician works on site — which is why a temporary crown takes forty minutes here rather than a week.

Look around

Your first visit

Nothing happens on the first day.

Most people who put off a dentist are not avoiding treatment. They are avoiding the unknown. So here is the whole of it, in order.

Nothing happens on day one

45 minutes

The first appointment is a conversation and a set of scans. No drill, no decisions, no pressure to book anything before you have seen the plan in writing.

We photograph and scan

20 minutes

A digital scan instead of the putty tray, a set of photographs, and an OPG X-ray if we need one. None of it hurts and all of it is yours to take away.

You get a plan in writing

Within 3 days

Written, itemised, with the alternatives listed and what happens if you do nothing. If a treatment is not worth doing we say so — that is most of what a second opinion is for.

You decide, in your own time

No deadline

Plans stay open for six months. Nobody from this practice will phone you to chase a decision.

Results

Cases and reviews.

On a real practice site this is the section that closes the enquiry.

Case study slot

Before and after, with the plan and the time it took. Three to six cases, photographed under the same lighting, with the patient's written consent on file.

Case study slot

A second, ideally one that was harder than it looked — those persuade more than the straightforward ones do.

Review slot

Pulled live from Google reviews rather than typed into the page, so the count and the rating stay honest with nobody maintaining them.

These are left empty on purpose. Aurea is a concept practice, and inventing before-and-after photographs would be fabricating medical evidence — the same goes for inventing patients and their reviews. The layout is built and tested; a real clinic drops its own material straight in.

Questions

Including the awkward ones.

I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?

No. It is the single most common thing people tell us on the phone, and it changes nothing about how the appointment goes. We are interested in what to do next, not in what happened before.

What will it cost?

We cannot answer that honestly until we have looked. Two people needing "an implant" can be a straightforward single tooth or a graft, a sinus lift and eight months — and quoting a figure before seeing a scan is how people end up with a number that moves. You leave the first appointment with an itemised written plan, and that figure does not change afterwards.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, over six, twelve or twenty-four months through a regulated lender. We will always show you the total repayable rather than only the monthly figure — the monthly figure is how treatment gets sold, the total is what you actually pay.

I am frightened of the dentist. Genuinely.

Tell whoever answers the phone and it will be on your file before you arrive. Longer appointments, stop signals agreed in advance, and oral or IV sedation if you want it. Roughly one in six of our patients comes to us for exactly this reason.

Do you take emergencies?

Same day, if you call before 15:00. Out of hours the number on our voicemail is answered by whichever clinician is on call — an actual person, not a service.

How long do veneers last?

Ten to fifteen years for porcelain, if the bite is right and you do not grind. If you do grind, we will say so and fit a guard, because otherwise you will be paying for the same work twice.

Next step

Come and talk to us first.

The first appointment is a conversation and a set of scans — no treatment, no decisions, and no obligation to book anything afterwards.
